Google ReCAPTCHA is a widely used security tool that helps protect websites from spam and abuse by requiring users to complete a simple task that proves they are human. In this tutorial, I will walk you through the steps to generate a Google ReCAPTCHA for your website.
Step 1: Sign up for Google reCAPTCHA v3
To use Google reCAPTCHA v3, you first need to sign up for it. Go to the Google reCAPTCHA website and sign in to your Google account. Once you’re signed in, click on the “+ Add” button to create a new reCAPTCHA site.
Step 2: Register your site
After clicking the “+ Add” button, you will be taken to the registration page where you will need to fill out some information about your website. You will need to enter a label for your reCAPTCHA site, select reCAPTCHA v3 as the type, and add your domain name(s) where you will be using reCAPTCHA. Once you’re done, click on the “Submit” button.
Step 3: Get your API keys
Once your site is registered, you will be taken to the site settings page where you will find your site key and secret key. Keep these keys safe as you will need them to integrate reCAPTCHA with your website.
Step 4: Integrate reCAPTCHA with Campoal
To integrate reCAPTCHA with Campoal, you will need to go to your Campoal dashboard and navigate to Theme Options > Authentication > Google ReCAPTCHA. Once you’re there, you will need to enter your site key and secret key in the respective fields.
Step 5: Save your settings
After entering your site key and secret key, click on the “Save Changes” button to save your settings. Your website is now integrated with Google reCAPTCHA v3 and will protect your website from spam and abuse.
That’s it! You have now successfully generated a Google reCAPTCHA v3 API key and integrated it with Campoal in Theme Options > Authentication > Google ReCAPTCHA.
